Site is open again as you can see. Alot of stuff is hidden because i still have to fix it and put it back up. Right now i managed to seed and add direct downloads to All the JAVs and Ecchi.

Just in case you missed it:
Over 30,000 file attachments GONE (attached files/pictures/torrents)
All avatars GONE (Users must re-upload)
All Signatures GONE (Feature Now Disabled)
All Private Messages GONE (Feature Now Disabled)
Directly Linked Pictures GONE (like official release cover pictures)
Threads and Comments Salvaged (Up to June 2th)
Threads and Comments GONE (AFTER Jun 2th)

But how do you think i should proceed? should i just forget about all the previous releases(redoing the torrent and adding direct download to all of them) or start anew with brand new releases?

EDIT: right now only the Ecchi and JAVs have everything up (it wasn't much :P) and there are a couple of doujin up and 1 CG set. It's all i can manage right now. Work is busting my ass again with 10+ hours daily leaving me exhausted!

I say to remake only the most popular ones ... we could make a list.

Agreed. redo the fav. ones, the rest could be put into a list, for the time being.

i think the 3D section needs to be redone. all of it. People like 3D games. Maybe i'll just redo the games with the most posts. But i wonder what i should do with all the games that i have that are not going to be redone....

it would take a VERY long time to redo all the games.

i would still say, put all left-overs onto a list with, at most, a getchu link for some screens and stuff.
On one hand it sure is sad ... but on the other hand it is simply way too much work to redo them all.

If at all, then only in small numbers, probably theme based (circle, genre, etc.) not the whole package.
just my 2 cents

Putting them on a list would be a good idea. That way, anyone who still has games you don't release could put them up in the member's section.

Glad to see you and the site back, DM. Re-doing all manually would be too much to ask from you, unless you have gotten some sort of automated way to handle this.
I agree with redoing only the popular ones and those with highest number of replies / interests. The rest of us can help out with seeding starting with the highest off the "wish list". :)

Then we have got to move on. New stuffs need to be released, shared and loved.
While we are at this, is there going to be back-up plan in the future to prevent another disaster?

glad to see you back DM

its a bit tricky to say "the ones with the most replies" because i used to read some and many were 15-20 entries of: it doesn´t work on my computer/ haven´t read instructions / can´t follow rules

personally i think you should start anew and as you progress with the site (AND you get the time to) up some old posts that you like, the rest can come from all of us, hshare fans :)

(although i have to admit that I lack the ability to up games :P )

Might not need to take all the 3D ones back.. but the more popular ones like Sexy Beach 3 or Artificial Girl 3 etc (yes i know i only mentioned illusion games as examples, but they do make good games!).
That will really save time too, i for once just came back after like a half year to check if there was new 3D released here but nooo it was all gone :P

(Btw get out School Mate 2 + add-ons)

Welcome back, Dizzy and Death!

I was surprised when the site was replaced by the incredibly abrupt "everything gone" message, and outright flabbergasted once I realized all of Dizzy's sites went down, as well. What happened, anyway?

As for the content, I'm personally hungry for something new, so I'd prefer it if you simply started releasing new material. The old material, since it'd be a shame to let it collect dust, could be re-released on a whimsical basis down the road as convenient filler when things are slow. I agree with DM on getting the 3D games section back up (I usually ignore the 2D section, anyway), although I don't think it's necessary to re-up the entirety of the section. You've had those things up for a while--the entirety of the collection is probably dispersed amongst all of us. You could let us handle re-upping those on a request basis or something like that.
"Whoa, how did you fix it?"
"I used a blunt-impact mechanical-stress routine."
"... what?"
"I kicked it."

Extremely happy to have you back DM. I was stunned to hear the site had gone down.
About the site, i think it would be nice if you kept the popular old releases. If anyone requests something else from the old releases, as stated by Emuchu, i think we can handle that so don't worry.

Between hosting a seed server and DDL, which one is more expensive?

i dont do DDL. DDLs are offsite. i do have a seeder server though which makes things alot easier to release and spread.

As for the person who asked what i am doing now to pretend this disaster from happening again is doing weekly complete full backups of the site. So if it happens again i will only loose a weeks worth of stuff instead of nearly 5 years.

THANKS ERO-JIJI! this will help quicken fixing up the threads!! how come you aren't all collecting all the torrents i release :P

Good to see you again, DeathMarine. I really stun went I see the site is shut down. Not just I cannot download any game but also I will lost a lot of friends. I don't mean to ask you too much or offend you but I don't see Dizzy and Dv. I hope I can talk to them soon. Now that I cannot send a private message, I cannot call for them. I don't mean to say anything to offend you, DeathMarine, It's great just to see you back. I still keep some of your torrents. I really want to up the game I download here but I just afraid that I will do something wrong and I will get banned. If there is anything I can help. I will gladly to do so, you just need to giving me order.
