GAME: The Nuns of Sexualministrant
My OS: Windows Vista with Service Pack 1.

As my topic title says, I keep getting this error when I try to run setup.exe ("SETUP.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING").

I changed my Locale settings to Japanese, rebooted and tried running setup.exe (using the mounted ccd image on Daemon Tools), resulting in the above problem.

I also tried switching back to my old settings and ran AppLocale to see if it would work...but to no avail...I get the same problem either way.

The last thing I tried was to switch my compatibility mode to Windows XP S2....no change in result.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards.

Vista has this thing called UAC or User Account Control. It basically restricts admin rights to programs that really need it. Ie, denying people logged in as admins from having admin rights. Go to this step by step guide on how to turn this off to see if you have better luck.
Tips here may only work for HShare torrents.

I'm having a vexing problem.
I mounted the correct CD (using Alchohol 120%), and the setup file gave the standard annoying useless "Encountered a problem and needs to close" error message, not to be unexpected. Then I tried running it using AppLocale. Same Problem. Then I set my region settings to Japanese. Same Problem. I don't normally have problems like this. Anyone have any tips or solutions for this problem? Using Windows XP, BTW.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just live your fucking life.
