In response to a comment made earlier today - normally I would just delete that garbage and ignore it's existence but I was thinking that perhaps others here on the site were wondering the same thing.

Well the reason we do not charge for anything here on the site is because we are deathly against forcing people to pay for hentai. We despise pay sites and hate anyone who charges for pirated content such as pay sites. I always feel bad when people are swindled into paying for hentai when it is so readily available for free, like here on hshare. I think if anyone wants to pay for it then they can and should purchase it from the companies who work so hard to make it and help keep the great titles coming!!

WE DO NOT MAKE A PROFIT we barely cut even but most months we have to pay out of pocket to cover the costs of running Hshare, and that's not taking into consideration the amount of work both DeathMarine and I put into the site. We are only two running Hshare, we do all the work that other sites have huge teams to take care of, we are also a relatively small operation compared to some other sites that deal with all forms of Japanese pop culture and can in no way be justly compared to these monsters as we offer only all forms of hentai (and JAV's).

The ads we have up on the site are there for us to try and make a little money to help us cover the cost of running Hshare. We do try to keep them to a minimal and have a set limit for how many show up but are always having to keep an eye on the ad companies because it seems like they are always trying to sneak in more ads or rather ads that we have not approved of. We try our best to keep things on track and to a minimal. I wish that we did get enough donations that we wouldn't have to rely on ads to help pay for Hshare, but until that day comes then we have to keep the ads. There are a limited number of ads that show up each day so it's really not all that bad, better than being forced to pay for content. People say they would donate and such and such but we take the ads away and no donations (at least no where enough to pay for the site). If you want to help out and you want to see the ads disappear then donate, don't just talk about it do it and we can take action on our side.

Now a word on the rules before I forget, the rules are not in place as a way for DeathMarine or I to be dicks, we can do that just fine on our own if we want to :P. The rules are there for everyone's benefit. They help us to keep the site clean and organized and among other things they help to reduce spamming. We don't ask much of our users, all the content is available for everyone to read or download and no one is forced to pay for anything, all we ask is that you help us out by following the rules. We work very hard on Hshare, so hard that I ended up with carpal tunnel, that I have been dealing with for almost a year and the pain goes all the way to my shoulder, is it really so much to as you all to follow some simple rules to help us out a little. Perhaps it is but I would like to think that we are all adults here and that we can act as such.

Finally as I stated before I see Hshare as a small operation. A site devoted to hentai, created by fan's of hentai for fans of hentai. We strive to keep ALL our content FREE and available to everyone (over 18 :P). I wont speak for DeathMarine as he can do that himself but if I come off at times as being a bitch, yeah that may be true but I am constantly dealing with people breaking the same rules, so much that I am starting to think that some of you are doing so on purpose. I am not a bitch or hard on people without cause or at least I try not to be.

I really like Hshare, I like running the site, I like our members (sadly many have left us) and I love hentai that's why I love so much sharing hentai with others.

I hope this clears things up for everyone.

Thanks *Smiles*

I should clarify that I am totally ok with the fact that people can't donate (I am assuming this is what you meant by help), times a tough for everyone and trust me it's not like we have hoards of money we live pay check to pay check just like most people do (hopefully it wont be forever) but that's why we have the ads; they are a minor inconvenience that keeps the site going without asking for or taking anything from those who visit the site and the only reason I mentioned anything about all of this is that some people don't seem to see that or to see everything we put into the site, we sacrifice a lot of time and energy into keeping Hshare going (and like I said before I like doing this, don't get me wrong). I don't in anyway want to place pressure on our members or anyone who visits the site, we don't expect donations but we are super grateful when we get them because every little helps.

Just want to say thanks for this wonderful site and your hard work Dizzy/DM it's truly the best hentai site ( for me :) ) the number of games give me a headache and i don't even talk about the animes and movies.

For the people who complain for the ads... well, you're seriously a pain, you can use firefox with noscript and you won't be bothered again with the ads but i guess it's easier to complain xD

It's important that people view the ads as they are what keeps Hshare going, without them I don't think we could afford to run the site, so please tolerate the ads for the sake of Hshare. It's only fair.

The ads are indeed annoying, but that's nothing compare to the free contents I got from here. Did I mention free stuffs?

Just forget about them Dizzy, I love you & your hubby and this awesome website.

Uh oh. I started using NoScript ages ago--I didn't even know HShare had ads besides the banners here and there. I'm inferring that the ads people are complaining about are of the page-hijacking nature? I'm reluctant to enable scripts of that sort, but I will if it helps out... I have trustworthy anti-virus software anyway, if [bad stuff] ever manages to sneak through. Not too big a deal.

Now I'm kind of curious about what prompted this message... some people just don't realize how much of a good thing they happened upon by finding this site. I mean really--they're complaining about free stuff. More specifically: frequent, high-quality, incredibly well-organized free stuff that's been meticulously packaged to be easy to browse through. We should be complaining about far more important things... like how lazy Nintendo is getting with our Wii games.

Dizzy and DM (although he doesn't seem to be posting as often as he used to)... I'm always surprised by the release frequency you two manage to keep. It really shows the... er... enthusiasm you two share for this interest. And I strongly appreciate having a plot synopsis and screenshots to look over before committing all my bandwidth to torrenting for the day. The tagging is neat, too. Just a glance and I'll know whether or not I'll be seeing any tentacles (evil laugh) anywhere.

*-*) If you guys had time to post reviews, too, it'd be just perfect~

But I digress. You two are amazing, and HShare is one-of-a-kind. Props to you both.

We are against the ads of the page-hijacking nature but some do get through, if anyone does notice them please report them to us via PM or email, that is if you can catch the url (often these type of ads have a quick loading page before the hijacking page, unfortunately this makes it very difficult to report them to the ad companies). It is also against the ad companies policies to have an inter-sectional within an inter-sectional ad and we have reported one of these already but I don't think they have done anything about it yet.

Thanks guys your support and kindness really means more to me than I can express. I have been wanting to do reviews for like over a year now but I spend most of my time preparing and releasing the titles, but maybe once the site content of H.A.D has gone up sufficiently I can slow down with releasing and start those reviews (even just quick personal thoughts about the titles)

DeathMarine has been working super hard at his on the clock/real job and has little time or energy to do anything else and he is also attending college, most days he barely gets to sleep. Trust me he wants to get back to releasing but there just isn't enough time for him to at the moment. Don't worry though he will release what he can when he can!! (as will I once I recover enough)

Thanks Again guys (and gals?)

I'm somebody who only lurks on sites like these, taking what free stuff I can get. I usually don't contribute on sites, but I'll show my appreciation to you two for upholding a site like this, without donations in bad economic times.

If you guys are barely getting the site from paycheck to paycheck wouldn't having a minimal amount of members be somewhat of a good thing? I remember sites where they had too many people and they had to get donations,

This being my first post here, I'll try to show more appreciation to the hands that feed me

Thanks everyone for supporting us!!

We can handle lots of members, that's not the really an issue, even with more members it's going to cost us the same amount each month (unless we are talking about a massive and I mean massive spike in traffic where the site as it is can no longer sustain the amount of people on it and we need to upgrade, but as I said this isn't anything to worry about, members are very welcome!!)

PS Hi Vermilion nice to finally meet you, it's always great when one of our "lurkers" emerges from the shadows :D It's ok if you don't contribute content but I would love to hear from you and all members more often!!

It's also nice to see some old faces that haven't been too active in a while, I hope to see more of you!!

I haven't run into too many of the REALLY annoying ads, like the page hijackers. I'm totally for what helps support the site as long as it doesn't try to do something crazed to my computer. As for me, I'm thankful that hshare is around as a resource and for all of the hard work that has gone into it and for all the time spent going forward.

Don't want to come across as a total brown-noser, but thought I'd put that out there. As someone who sees customer feedback coming in for a company that deals with the internet, I can say that the folks who bitch are unfortunately far more vocal than the folks who are happy with what's happening, so it's good to make our appreciation heard once in a while.

Thanks and I agree, often those who are satisfied go on quietly while those who have a problem just can't wait to let you know about it. So it is always very appreciated to hear from those of you who enjoy Hshare and support us!!

So far we haven't had any problems with our current ad company distributing harmful ads and we have been using them for a while now, so you don't have to worry about that here on Hshare!! (but certainly let us know if ever you see anything suspicious so we can look into it!! I definitely don't want harmful ads on the site!!!)

I'm just a newbie here so i won't say much.
But REALLY it would take a saint( :giggle: ) to spend so much time or even money to run a site like this for the sake of Hentai and Hentai lovers. I just want to say thanks to the two of you, it's simply going to be so damn hard to find the hentai we want if there wasn't a site like this. How's ads gonna matter if they can keep this site up and running? I just want to say, i may not be able to support financially but i'll always support mantally or by trying my best to obey the rules.

Hmm, Im not here every day. Though I do love the service you guys give.
Ive only donated twice, but im happy with it.

I don't know what happened to cause a front page post of such magnitude, I can only guess.

Whatever it is, do not feel harsh or beat yourself up over it. You provide a FREE service, if anything inconvenience's you about it, cut that thread loose. Don't feel bad about being 'mean' to anyone that might deserve it. Remember that you don't have to be doing this and its all due to your generosity and time that we even have this site.

Personally, I'm not affected or overly care about the opinions of people on internet forums. To easy to say anything you feel without a 'face' to see. Heh, don't even know if the direction of my post has anything to do with the issue on the front page. 'shrug'

Main thing.

THANK YOU, both of you, for all your hard work and effort, there are those of us out there that appreciate what you do, but don't wish to post about it.
